If there were millions of us in in nonviolent resistance in this kind of disruption, we actually could force a political crisis. And so right now, the three things that you can do, one, make your plan to come to DC. >> It’s $38 now on the ramp track and the Amtrak. So go home tonight. You can buy your tickets. Two, spread the word about November 5th to everybody. You can you know somebody who has a network. If you know somebody who has reach on social media, tell them about it. We have flyers. Take stacks with you. Put posters up in every window. We got to get the word out about this. Three is donate. We need buses out of every burrow. We need buses out of every college campus. So, you can go to our website or you can donate on Venmo. You can ask and raise funds. Raise funds to get the buses. This is a not forprofit. We don’t have big funders. This is a movement funded by the people. So those are the three things that you can do today. Get connected. Don’t just have this be a a protest where we come out and just say, “Okay, I did my part and then I’m going to go home and be mad at Instagram at how Trump is continuing to do his program.” Let’s go. I don’t know if we can do this. I’m going to be honest. I know it’s a long shot, but I think we do have a possibility. And if we even have a little bit of a possibility that we could do this, we should go for it with everything we got. [Music] >> And as an example, we have Mark here from ACT Up who has a very rich history of what people told extra people told you what you’re trying to do, you can’t do it. >> And you know what? They changed the course of history. So give it up for Mark. I’m going to take only 30 seconds. Okay. >> I want to bring it back to this. All right. Because I have a question for you. Did Hitler come to power on his own? >> No. >> He was enabled by tens of thousands of people. Right. >> Trump is being enabled. Right. >> Now, we’re here at ABC. Who owns ABC?
>> And who is this? Anybody know? Bob. >> Bob. Bob is enabling Trump, right? >> We have to call out Trump, but we also have to call out every who is enabling him, right? >> Spread the word. We need to make this man as hated as Donald Trump. and everybody else who is enabling Donald Trump. So Kimmel must stay. [Applause] >> Thank you. >> Okay, so one well there’s two more announcements. one, there’s someone who is going to do a protest up in the Upper West Side at ABC headquarters at 11:00 a.m. I told her that I would get the word about it on Saturday. And so if you want to go and be part of that, we’re going to post the details on our website. It’s on 66. >> Okay. Well, >> I’m just the messenger. >> Okay. All right. So, that’s thing one. into the weekend of the 28th. We’re going to have a mass meeting here in New York City. We want hundreds of New Yorkers to come to put our heads together, but also to make an action plan on how we’re going to turn out the East Coast for November 5th. So, save the day. Watch your social media for that. And let’s go set I don’t want to say set a fire, but I want to say let’s go to all the people who are concerned about this. I do feel that there is a political awakening that people are having. Do you feel some of this that there’s a mood shift? >> So, let’s go find them and let’s bring them into this movement. And November 5th, be in DC, October 18th, let’s make it even the biggest no kings protest yet. And let’s get this fascist regime out of power now. All right. >> Okay. So, that’s it. >> Oh, yeah. And then there’s a thing going around if people want to donate. If you have a talent, you can like to bake cookies, you want to do something, come talk to me and and we’ll connect. [Music] >> Can I get your contact information? >> Uh, sure. I might not be the right person, but I can connect you. >> Thank you. Rod, >> you’re the person you see?
>> Yeah, they sent me. >> Okay, hang on. >> It’s Rod. >> Yeah, that’s me. Don’t go by Richard. >> Oh, that’s >> No, Rod. I would go by Rod. Richard’s my IRS name where I pay taxes to [Music] >> Rodri. How does somebody >> Excuse me. >> What’s that? >> I can’t comment. I’m covering the story. >> All right. Well, >> spread that bug you big guy. >> It’s an interesting one, though. It’s an interesting one.
>> It’s interesting. >> Curious how it doesn’t shake out. [Music] >> See what happens. [Music] >> Yeah. Actually, you didn’t send me that stuff for Saturday because she was talking about some other events. >> Saturday on the 11th at 11. Saturday. >> Yeah. Yeah. That kind of stuff. If you send that if you get that information to me, then I can pass it on. >> Cuz I’m not edging a personal. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I’m not the editorial person. I’m the photographer. >> So I They didn’t know. I didn’t think they knew how CNN. You guys are definite. I mean, >> uh, yeah. I think a lot of people hate us, but you know, >> it comes with the territory. >> I saw you. >> Okay. Good. Good. >> Attention. >> Keep standing. We have fascism in the United States, right? [Music] [Music] right here. >> Say hello to [Music] to call to stand up and speak out. But don’t you share these concerns? Now is the time not just be sitting on your computer typing about Hey, what’s up? >> No, no. >> Oh, thank you. So, sorry. I’m just giving out like my info to the press. Time magazine misgendered me, so I have to It’s routine now. >> You did? >> Time magazine. So, now I just have to every time add out a public event. >> Yeah. >> Okay, great. Thank you so much. CNN. I’m Rod. How you doing? >> Hi, I’m Laura Lightream. >> Yeah, good job up there speaking.
>> Thank you. It’s usually I’m I do translate. >> I’m neutral on this, but you know, more power to you for getting out there. >> Oh, yeah. Thank you. I mean, this isn’t usually my thing. I I I do a lot of transact around the city. Um, and so with fashion, I I spoke at the Co Bear thing and now I’m doing this. So, I’m different road, but I know a lot of the people here, a lot of the elected officials. You made a Hey, you also made a really great point because I’ve had been listening uh I heard someone else speak about this and that kids kids and even adults in their 20s don’t know another political system. >> They don’t know another way. And that it sunk in on me. I was like you know you don’t remember Barack Obama. >> Yeah. I was what two when I was two I was one in 2008. >> Yeah. >> As a year old. Yeah. I have a very vague memory of my parents throwing me a coloring book and coloring in each state red or blue, but like that’s like one of the early memories. Like that’s that’s the only memory I have of it. Like I my parents were very political. Like they took I was canvasing for the Harris campaign. Um I I’ve been going My dad brought me to Occupy Wall Street when I was four years old in the staller. Like I’ve grown up going to protest. Yeah. >> Every day park. I’ll never forget it. Most of my baby photos are like me at protest. I was I was I’ve been basically at everything. And I’ve, you know, I’ve been doing pro like going to protest, but basically after autism trans person, as a trans child, that’s sort of when I really got, you know, put into the spotlight cuz a lot of times with trans, especially with trans healthcare miners, there’s often no trans people, trans kids there. So anytime I’d show up to a rally, they just put me on stage and then I’d be at every press conference. So that’s how like I sort of in the past like however many months has sort of platform me to a point where like I’m invited to all these things and like have presses for you. >> So yeah, actually I forget what’s it’s important to participate. >> Yeah. No, no, no. So like yeah, my speeches have already been quoted at CNN. And it’s sort of gotten me to the point where I’m politically engaged, but there’s so many people my age. This is all we could ever know >> because we’re at that age. Like >> right now I’m experienc an escalation. >> You’re in high school.
>> Yeah. I’m a senior. I’m 18, which means I can finally do press releasations without my parents, which is great cuz that’s prevented me from so many things. But yeah, no, I mean I just turned 18. I wasn’t old enough to vote in the presidential election, but I’ve been suffering the consequences of it as a trans child and his constant attack on our healthcare, on our legal identifications, the exgender passports, which I have. Like, it’s I haven’t I’m the one experiencing everything, but I don’t get a say. >> I I didn’t get to vote, but I’m having to experience the constructor.
